TAL offers a choice of three semesters, each offering a particular focus
Spring: Dramatic Writing Semester
A semester long program focusing on writing for stage and screen. Alongside these classes, the Spring semester also offers courses in the history and development of drama and its cultural and political contexts.
Summer: Acting and Shakespeare Intensive
Summer is offered in two sessions:
Session 1:
A short four-week program offering a choice of two courses out of three centred on acting.
Session 2:
Comprises a six-week Shakespeare Intensive; students take two or three courses in a program focused on Acting Shakespeare.
Fall: Performance Studies Semester
A semester long program of performance courses focused on actor training.
