IT Administrator - Nadeem Ashraf
Nadeem has worked with FSU London since early 2004 as a permanent member of staff managing the Information Technology Systems. A graduate of Brunel University in London (BEng Hons Electronics Engineering). After completing his MCSCE 2000 is now studying for Cisco CCNP and hopes to study for a Masters degree afterwards. Nadeem loves the cinema, eating out and visiting the museums and galleries of London.
Supervising Librarian - Dr David Parkes
David recently moved to London from America where he spent an enjoyable two years teaching English. Along with his teaching duties, David found time to complete a Masters degree in Education at Florida State University specialising in online instruction and human performance technology. His research interests include seventeenth century English literature and the effects of role-assignment in virtual learning environments. In his spare time he likes going to the theatre.
Library Intern - Ginger Williams
Ginger is a member of the ALA (including ACRL and RBMS) and SLA. While living in Tallahassee, she was President of the College of Information ALA Student Chapter and a graduate assistant for the Special Collections department of the Florida State University Libraries. Ginger earned a B.A. in Letters from the University of Oklahoma, where she was a student assistant in the Western History Collections. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to experience London’s rich arts culture and explore its many libraries and archives.
Information Technology Intern - Thomas Parker
Thomas (T.R.) visited London in the Spring of 2001 and is excited to be back. He has studied History and Theology at the undergraduate and graduate levels. With the completion of this internship he looks to graduate with a Masters in Information Studies. He loves London's winding streets, excellent libraries, and vibrant theatre culture. In his spare time he likes to go running in the Royal Parks and visit London's world class museums. He thinks this internship is a great opportunity to develop his technical skills and gain international library experience.
Acorn Staff Head Receptionist- Janice Moody
Janice has worked for Acorn since May 2002 and has worked at FSU as Head Receptionist/Building Manager since October 2004. Janice really enjoys her diverse role at FSU, she really loves meeting all the students and working with the different professors throughout the semesters. In 2005 she went to her first ever thanksgiving evening and finally ate pumpkin pie! Her interests are the theatre, cinema, reading and going line dancing.
