CHINESE LANGUAGE AND BUSINESS
Located in Tianjin, the premiere cosmopolitan city in Mandarin-speaking north China near the capital city of Beijing, this program offers students an invaluable chance to study the Chinese language, culture, and business. The program is hosted by Tianjin Foreign Studies University, where students take intensive language courses taught by Chinese teachers specializing in the instruction of Chinese as a foreign language; students can also take business courses taught in English. To enhance students’ understanding of China’s glorious past and dynamic present, the program features a number of field trips to major sites of cultural heritage. Credit hours earned from the Chinese courses of the program may count toward the Chinese minor or major as well as the Asian Studies major at The Florida State University.

Eligibility
This program is open to all interested students.

Housing
Students will be housed in the foreign-students dormitory on the main campus of Tianjin Foreign Studies University. The standard double room is air-conditioned with a bathroom, a phone, and satellite TV. Students have access to the dormitory’s computer lab which has internet connections.
