Financial Aid General Information

Requirements, availability of aid or scholarships, and procedures for obtaining such funds differ between FSU and Non-FSU students(i.e. transient students).

Make sure that you are following the appropriate guidelines based on your status as either an FSU student or non-FSU student.

All financial aid recipients are expected to enroll as fulltime students and to complete sufficient academic units each semester in order to graduate in the normal period for the degree being sought. This means undergraduate and graduate students should be registered for an average of at least 12 credit hours per term. Note: FSU degree-seeking students expecting to receive summer financial aid must be enrolled for a minimum of six credits.
